As a signatory of the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information, the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine (SSTL of Ukraine) invites researchers, research-performing organisations, higher education institutions, research infrastructures, funding organisations, and Open Science professionals to participate in the Barcelona Declaration Conference 2026.

The conference will bring together signatories and supporters of the Declaration, policy makers, research-performing and funding organisations, infrastructure providers, and the wider research community to discuss how policy and practical implementation can reinforce one another in advancing open research information.

The Call for Proposals is now open. Organisers welcome submissions for presentations and posters showcasing experiences, approaches, achievements, challenges, and lessons learned in implementing open research information. Contributions reflecting implementation at institutional, national, regional, or international levels are especially encouraged.

Proposal submission deadline: 1 September 2026.

The conference will take place in November 2026 in Berlin, with the possibility to participate online.

SSTL of Ukraine encourages the Ukrainian research community to share its achievements and practical experience in Open Science, open research information, and research information systems with the international community.
