The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation, together with the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, has announced the launch of the nomination process for the 2027 Ihor Yukhnovskyi Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize.

The announcement was officially published on 28 July 2026 on the websites of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation and the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.

According to the Regulations on the Ihor Yukhnovskyi Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize, approved by the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of 4 December 2025 No. 4712-IX (as amended), up to 50 prizes are awarded annually to young researchers. This includes up to five prizes for scientific and scientific-technical works containing information classified as a state secret.
